All of our produce is grown with care and attention. We are certified organic through CCOF. We live where we grow and share our farm land with so many creatures big and small. Our hope is to find balance in our contribution to soil and habitat health as well as have an efficient and successful farm. We grow highly diversified vegetables to serve our many customers, farmers' market, restaurants and grocery stores.
In response to these unprecedented times, we have decided to shift our business model to include providing farm fresh produce directly to our community. We are offering a pay as you go weekly vegetable box for on- farm pickup each Wednesday. Pricing may vary and the vegetables too but we are packing our boxes with the freshest and finest that this early spring time can offer. We hope you sign up and join our farm community! Use the subscription button to sign up for our email list and we will be in contact soon to get you started!
Stone's Throw Farm produce can be found at the Auburn Farmers' Market on Saturdays during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. The market runs year round and we recommend you attend all year. We take the winter off to spend the weekends as a family.
Come stay with us on the farm! We currently have our sweet and very private yurt available for rent through AirBnb. Set on a sloping hill with a view of our pond in our forested "campground" the yurt is glamping at its best. Airy in the summer and cozy with wood-burning stove in the winter and access to walking trails on the farm and the attractions of Gold County in the Sierra Foothills this is an affordable an unforgettable organic farm-stay experience!
